The Normal BBQ Serves Up Scandinavian-Inspired Dishes

Serving up classic BBQ dishes with a Scandinavian-inspired twist, the Normal BBQ has become a dining destination in Lima, New York.

Owner Adam Peterson opened the restaurant in February 2023. His vision was creating BBQ with a Scandinavian twist using flavors like lingonberry in his BBQ sauce and turmeric using modern kitchen techniques combined with specially curated drink selections to deliver a unique pairing menu.

With Dream-O-Vate funding and technical assistance, owner Adam Peterson expanding the restaurant to include a full-service bar to enhance customer experience.

The Normal is a 2023 Dream-O-Vate grant winner.
