Livingston County Development Corporation

The Livingston County Development Corporation (LCDC) is a Type “C” corporation under Section 201 of the Not-For-Profit Corporation Law. Its purposes are defined under Section 1411 of the Not-For-Profit Corporation Law as defined in Section 102(a)(5). The Livingston County Board of Supervisors incorporated the LCDC in 1987.

MISSION

The purposes of the Livingston County Development Corporation are to relieve and reduce unemployment, to promote and provide for additional employment, to maintain job opportunities and to better job opportunities, to instruct and train individuals to improve or develop their capabilities for jobs, to carry on scientific research for the purpose of adding to the county by attracting business and industry to the area, or by encouraging the development of, or retention of business in the area and to lessen the burden of government and to act in the public interest.

MEETINGS

Regular monthly meetings are held on the first Friday of the month except when such dates precede or immediately following a holiday. Special meetings are called as necessary. All meetings are held at the Livingston County Government Center unless otherwise identified.
