Livingston County Tourism Launches New "Visit LivCo" Smartphone App
GENESEO, N.Y., Sept. 16, 2024 —Visit LivCo, Livingston County’s official tourism promotion agency, is excited to announce the release of its new “Visit LivCo” smartphone app, now available for both iOS and Android-powered devices.
Tourism officials designed the free application to transform the way visitors explore and experience the Genesee River Valley. It offers a range of convenient features to help travelers plan and enjoy their perfect Livingston County vacation or weekend getaway, including:
Custom Plans: Select your interests - from food and lodging to events and activities - and let the app do the rest. It automatically creates a customized trip itinerary, complete with the best route to take, turn by turn navigation, duration estimates, and total mileage. The app even lets users toggle between vehicle or walking for their transportation preference and provides custom directions for each.
Explore local food options: Select your town and the app presents nearby food options, including the establishment’s website, phone, and location on a map.
Event Calendar: Stay up-to-date with the latest upcoming events throughout the area.
Curated Itineraries: Enjoy a few beverages on the LivCo Libation Loop, take in some building-sized artwork with the Murals of LivCo, or explore the many Fairy Doors of Dansville. The app lets users pick and choose between 10 or more stops on each of these custom-built itineraries to create an unforgettable day in Livingston County.

The county’s tourism department recently expanded their area presence with the opening of LivCo Basecamp, a first-of-its-kind visitor information center in Mount Morris at 4 O’Connell Avenue. The new site serves as a social and community gathering space designed to welcome and inspire both visitors and locals to explore Livingston County.
