Livingston County News

Two staff members at Livingston County Economic Development have become certified to teach a class designed to help business owners increase revenue and customer traffic during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

Louise Wadsworth, downtown coordinator for the economic development office, and Maureen Wheeler, the agency’s deputy director, are the first certified facilitators in New York State for the Destination Creation course. They are among only 48 trained facilitators in North America.

The Destination Creation Course teaches a 14-point business success strategy developed by internationally-known business consultant Jon Schallert, who created this methodology after three decades of coaching independent business owners to make their businesses irresistible to customers.
