Warm Up With Cedar House Wellness in Geneseo

Sauna. Cold plunge. Repeat. No better way to say I love you than with a little self-love!

Cedar House is a new wellness studio located at 5 Chestnut Street in downtown Geneseo specializing in contrast therapy. Founded by Mandy Oaks, the studio was developed with a mission to make approachable wellness a natural, accessible part of everyday life for Livingston County residents.

Cedar House Wellness opened with strategic support from Livingston County Economic Development through the CO.STARTERS Core course, Revolving Loan Fund, and the Dream-O-Vate Business Competition. Its opening represents another successful collaboration between local entrepreneurs and the Grow LivCo team to revitalize vacant or underutilized spaces into vibrant community assets.

CO.STARTERS came at exactly the right time for us. As a startup and first-time business owners, we had a big idea but a lot of questions, and the program helped us slow down and really think through what we were building. It broke things down in a way that made the process feel manageable and gave us tools that we could actually use. The education and resources we gained were incredibly valuable, especially when it came to understanding our numbers and making thoughtful decisions. Being surrounded by other local entrepreneurs going through similar stages made the experience even more meaningful. The class gave us clarity, confidence, and the foundation we needed to move forward and bring our business to life. - Mandy Oakes, Owner

The space and experience tools at Cedar House support recovery and everyday wellness, including infrared sauna, cold plunge, contrast therapy, and light therapy.
